Disney World Goes Full Stars & Stripes Ahead of Fourth of July at Magic Kingdom 🇺🇸
Cue the fife and fireworks—Magic Kingdom has gone full stars and stripes in preparation for Independence Day! As we inch closer to July 4th, Disney has once again draped Main Street, U.S.A. and Liberty Square in patriotic splendor, and the result is nothing short of firework-worthy.

The classic bunting—those iconic red, white, and blue half-moon banners—are now proudly fluttering from balconies, railings, and rooftops throughout the park. From City Hall and the firehouse to the Main Street Theater and Casey’s Corner, every turn down Main Street feels like you’ve marched into a turn-of-the-century Americana postcard (with a side of Mickey ice cream).

Not to be outdone, the Emporium, Main Street Confectionery, and even the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor are trimmed to patriotic perfection. Even the Liberty Belle riverboat over in Liberty Square is sporting its own festive flair, with bunting lining her railings as she sails gently along the Rivers of America. It’s all about those details—and Disney nails them every time.

Over in Liberty Square, it’s all about colonial charm and historical flair. The Liberty Belle riverboat is decked out in bunting, with red, white, and blue banners gracefully draped along the railings. As she sails through the Rivers of America, the stately paddlewheeler looks more festive than ever—like something straight out of 1776 (but with better snacks). It’s the perfect scenic ride to soak in some revolutionary vibes, especially as the 4th draws near.

Right next door, Frontierland adds a rustic twist to the patriotic decor. While less ornate than Liberty Square, the land’s wooden facades and frontier buildings complement the Americana aesthetic, making the area feel like a small town ready for a fireworks hoedown. Keep your eyes peeled for stars-and-stripes accents near the Country Bear Jamboree and Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn, where it feels like Davy Crockett himself could come strolling by in celebration.

This all leads up to Disney’s annual July 4th spectacular—“Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky”—which lights up the skies over Liberty Square and Frontierland on both July 3rd and 4th. Between the views of Cinderella Castle and the echo of patriotic music over the river, it’s one of the best spots to experience the magic of Disney and the spirit of the holiday.
Between the festive decor and the exclusive Americana merchandise (including that Mickey Lug bag drop earlier this month), now’s the perfect time to channel your inner Betsy Ross—or maybe just snack on a red, white, and blue cupcake while you soak it all in. 🎆
