Magic Kingdom Debuts New Nighttime Show “Happily Ever After”

We all know every great fairy tale has its own ‘happily ever after’ ending, but the most intriguing part of those classic fairy tales is the journey to the ending. The Magic Kingdom’s new nighttime fireworks show “Happily Ever After” takes us on that beautiful journey, to unlock the magic within…

“Happily Ever After” is so much more than just fireworks. This breathtaking show includes the latest projection technology, along with more lasers and lights than any other Magic Kingdom show that has come before it. An instant classic, the show will be presented nightly with times based on daily park closing.

The lights, the fireworks, the music…it is all absolutely stunning. However what truly makes this show speak directly to our hearts, is the storytelling; an area in which Disney excels.

Life is beautiful, but it is not perfect, and the story that unfolds during this 18 minute show, touches on that truth. State-of-the-art projections bring to life more than 25 of our favorite Disney movies; and the journey begins. Music from Disney favorites like “Princess and the Frog” and “Moana”  instantly transports us to the days of dreams, hope, and wonder. From there you’ll catch yourself singing-a-long with classics from “Aladdin,” “Tarzan,” and “The Lion King” as we are reminded; through friendship and love, that we are not alone in this journey. Of course what would life be without its trials and tribulations? The Disney villains make a brief appearance, representing the struggles we sometimes face; however we are quickly reminded that if we can be brave and bold, we heroes will come out stronger and ready to reach our destiny.

And of course, in a spectacular finale, Tinkerbell makes her magical appearance flying from the castle to bring us all a little faith, trust, and pixie dust to help us soar into our very own ‘happily ever after.’
