If you’re a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder hoping to spend Christmas Day at Magic Kingdom this year, you might be out of luck. According to the reservation calendar, Magic Kingdom park reservations for Annual Passholders have reached capacity for December 25, 2024. However, there are still reservations available at the other parks, including EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

For those still hoping to visit Magic Kingdom on Christmas, there is some good news. Guests staying at Disney resorts or those holding regular theme park tickets can still secure a reservation for the park. While Annual Passholders may be disappointed, there is a chance that park hopping later in the day could be an option, allowing them to enter Magic Kingdom if capacity allows.

In addition to the Christmas Day sellout, New Year’s Eve (December 31, 2024) has also hit capacity for Magic Kingdom for resort guests and regular ticket holders. This is typically one of the busiest days at Walt Disney World, with crowds flocking to the park for special entertainment and fireworks to ring in the new year. Interestingly, Annual Passholders can still make park reservations for Magic Kingdom on New Year’s Eve, for now, making it a prime opportunity for passholders to experience the celebration.
