Utopia of the Seas redefines the weekend getaway with its short three and four-night sailings. This groundbreaking Oasis-class ship, Royal Caribbean’s second largest, invites passengers to escape the ordinary and immerse themselves in a world of endless possibilities, proving that the perfect weekend is as much about mindset as it is about time.
Utopia of the Seas, the sixth vessel in Royal Caribbean’s Oasis class, maintains the familiar eight-neighborhood layout of its predecessors while introducing several fresh concepts. Among these is Pesky Parrot, a lively tiki bar in the Royal Promenade. Unlike traditional tiki bars inspired by Polynesian culture, this venue boasts a Caribbean flair, featuring a vibrant animatronic bird and a selection of rums sourced from the region, such as Angostura from Trinidad and Tobago.
Royal Caribbean has brought the magic of train travel to the high seas with Royal Railway – Utopia Station. Located on Deck 4, this immersive dining experience transports guests into two custom-built train cars, each accommodating 24 passengers. Surrounded by virtual scenery on large screens, diners savor themed menus and entertainment while enjoying the illusion of a cross-country journey. The experience is complete with a classic flipboard and a meticulously designed train platform, creating an authentic railway atmosphere.
Utopia of the Seas also introduces several innovative features. The Spare Tire, a casual dining option resembling a food truck, offers a convenient spot to grab Mediterranean veggie wraps, Tornados, and other quick bites near the ship’s five pools. Additionally, the new Solarium Suites provide guests with breathtaking 280-degree panoramic views from the ship’s bow.
Utopia of the Seas also brings refreshed versions of beloved amenities. Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar has been expanded into a two-story venue at the ship’s stern, offering an elevated dining experience. The thrilling Ultimate Abyss slide has been extended, reclaiming Royal Caribbean’s title for the longest dry slide at sea. Riders embark on their descent through the mouth of a colossal deep-sea creature at the ship’s summit before plummeting ten stories to the vibrant Boardwalk neighborhood.
Utopia of the Seas boasts a diverse range of accommodations, from expanded interior cabins to exciting new suite categories. While sharing many stateroom similarities with its predecessor, Wonder of the Seas, this Oasis-class ship introduces three fresh cabin options and other luxurious enhancements.
