There are a lot of projects for Marvel Fans to be excited about, but one of the most anticipated projects is the second season of the hit series, Loki starring Tom Hiddleston, Sophia Di Martino, Owen Wilson, and Jonathan Majors. At the end of the first season, Marvel Studios shared that the show has been greenlit for a second season.
Thanks to an update from Backstage we now know that filming will begin on the new season this summer at Pinewood Studios in London, England. Not much is known about the new season, but with rumors that Hiddleston, Di Martino, and Wilson will be involved with the upcoming film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Jonathan Majors’ involvement with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania it is likely that the series will follow the events of these films.
The primary cast is expected to return for the second season of Loki. A Disney+ premiere date has yet to be announced. This is a developing story, so be sure to check back here at Chip and Company for updates and all things Marvel!
