Hocus Pocus 2 — Sept. 30 (Disney+)
In this long-awaited sequel to Hocus Pocus, a teenager discovers she might be a witch on her 16th birthday. Naturally, she lights the black flame candle and all hell breaks loose (literally), bringing the Sanderson Sisters back to Salem once again.
ZOOTOPIA+ — Nov. 9
The breakout hit film is becoming a series on Disney+ and is set to lampoon famous movies and TV shows throughout Hollywood history. Get ready for “Real Housewives of Rodentia,” “So You Think You Can Prance,” and “The Godfather of the Bridge,” among others.
Strange World — Nov. 23
The Clades are a family of explorers famous around the globe. However, after stumbling upon a strange new world that’s full of danger and adventure, the family will need to learn to work through their differences in order to survive their most treacherous expedition yet. The cast includes Jake Gyllenhaal, Jaboukie Young-White, Dennis Quaid, and Lucy Liu.
Disenchanted — Nov. 24 (Disney+)
Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey reprise their roles in this sequel to Enchanted that now finds Giselle trying to navigate motherhood and living a “normal” life. But with a bit of magic, and Maya Rudolph playing the villain, classic fairytale shenanigans ensue.
Disney’s Snow White movie with Gal Gadot and Rachel Zegler has the March 22, 2024 release date. Also, Pixar’s Inside Out 2 will be released on June 14, 2024.

Pixar’s Elio will release in theaters March 1, 2024. In the story, 11-year-old dreamer Elio is artistic, creative and an avid INdoorsman who finds it hard to fit in. Meanwhile Mom Olga, who runs a top-secret military project, is working to decode a strange signal from outer space. But it’s Elio who makes contact, gets beamed into space and is subsequently mistaken for an intergalactic Ambassador for Earth.
Mufasa: The Lion King, a prequel to “The Lion King,” won’t release until July 5, 2024, but director Barry Jenkins was on hand to show a never-before-seen sneak peek at D23 Expo and share a little about the film, which is currently in production. Told in flashbacks—Rafiki, Timon and Pumbaa tell the story of Mufasa to a young lion cub—“Mufasa” reveals the rise of one of the greatest kings of the Pride Lands.
Disney’s Haunted Mansion movie is now rescheduled to release in theaters August 11, 2023.
Inspired by the classic theme park attraction, “Haunted Mansion” is about a woman and her son who enlist a motley crew of so-called spiritual experts to help rid their home of supernatural squatters.
