‘If you’re staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort, Disney Deluxe Villa Resort, or another select hotel, you’re in for a treat-Walt Disney World announced Extended Evening Hours will be available at Animal Kingdom this Fall! This perk allows you to explore select parks after dark on special nights so you can enjoy the wonders of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park with fewer crowds and shorter wait times.

During extended evening hours at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you can venture into some of the park’s most iconic attractions with significantly shorter wait times. Here’s a list of what’s currently available:
- Avatar Flight of Passage: Soar through the breathtaking landscapes of Pandora on the back of a banshee in this thrilling 3D experience.
- DINOSAUR: Travel back in time to save a dinosaur from extinction on this exciting dark ride.
- Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain: Embark on a high-speed adventure through the Himalayas as you try to escape the fearsome Yeti.
- It’s Tough to be a Bug!: Experience life from a bug’s perspective in this fun and interactive 3D show inspired by A Bug’s Life.
- Na’vi River Journey: Drift through the bioluminescent rainforest of Pandora on this serene boat ride.
- TriceraTop Spin: Take a spin on this whimsical, family-friendly ride in DinoLand U.S.A.
Please note that attraction availability is subject to change, so be sure to check the My Disney Experience app or Disney’s website for the latest updates.
To enjoy extended evening hours, you’ll need valid park admission along with a MagicBand, Disney MagicMobile pass, or Key to the World Card. If you’re using a Park Hopper ticket, remember that you must enter the park where you made your reservation before you can hop to another. While theme park reservations are no longer required for date-based tickets, they may still be necessary for other types of admission.
So far, extended evening hours at Disney’s Animal Kingdom have only been announced for October 11, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. However, be sure to stay tuned for additional dates and updates as they become available.
