Lion King’s Hyenas appearing at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Lion King's Hyenas

Lion King’s Hyenas appearing at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. On April 18th, 2022 character hugs returned across Disney Parks. Furthermore, when they did return, a slew of characters not seen recently was spotted across different parks. The Butterfly from Disney’s A Bug’s Life showed up by the Tree of Life, and also the Hyenas from Disney’s Lion King showed up floating around the canals in the Animal Kingdom.

Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed, the three hyenas are now floating around. Images also show they may have done a meet and greet on land today. The three hyenas are known for hanging out with Scar. They are also co antagonists and are apparently so dangerous, that they must be floated around on the barge!

You can catch them daily at Disney’s Animal Kingdom for the month of April. We also got some videos that you can watch below.

Q. Where can I find Disney Characters?

A. One of the best ways to see Disney Characters is to make reservations at a restaurant with Character Dining. Character Dining meals are very popular, so book your reservations early!

Theme parks are also home to attractions and entertainment that feature Disney Characters.

Plus, you never know who you might find when you visit the parks—check the printed Guidemap for additional Character Greeting locations.
