New Silver Disney Dollar collectible at Art of Disney in Epcot. These are reminiscent of the old paper Disney dollars that have been retired. The price of these are actually $150. This one sold right after we took this picture! Definitely a fun piece of Disney memorabilia. This limited edition silver Disney dollar can be found in two locations. This one we got a quick picture of (before it was bought by some lucky collector) was located at the Art of Disney store at Epcot. The silver Disney dollars can also be purchased at the Cinema at the Magic Kingdom. It’s located on Main Street. The sign on this display was incorrect, I heard the cast member tell the gentleman who purchase the silver dollar that it was actually $150.00.
The silver Disney dollar is plated with fine silver with different colors etched in to make it look like a classic Disney dollar. These do not actually come with a Disney dollar that is actually a certificate of verification.
Disney dollars have been retired for a couple of years and were a great and inexpensive collectible. I’m lucky enough to still have a couple myself. The limited-edition silver Disney dollar is a great addition to any collection. Make sure if you’re planning on owning one of these fine pieces you get one soon since there’s no telling how many will be available. When this one was bought from the case yesterday they didn’t immediately replace it with another one. Will you be getting one of these limited-edition collectibles?
