Walt Disney World Hits Record Lightning Lane Prices Ahead of Halloween and Holiday Rush

Hold onto your MagicBands, because Lightning Lane prices are surging again, and this time, they’ve hit all-time highs across every Walt Disney World park. As the Halloween crowds descend and the early holiday season ramps up, Disney’s latest pricing update brings the first-ever peak Lightning Lane rates to guests beginning October 29 and November 1, 2025.

These new maximums affect both Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass purchases, marking a significant jump since the system launched in July 2024. While the increases were first introduced in this month’s resort-wide price adjustments, this is the first week guests will actually see those maximums applied during booking.

New Lightning Lane Multi Pass Peak Prices

  • Magic Kingdom: $45 (up from $39 previous max, $29 at launch)
  • EPCOT: $37 (up from $32 previous max, $21 at launch)
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $39 (up from $35 previous max, $26 at launch)
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom: $35 (up from $29 previous max, $18 at launch)

Lightning Lane Single Pass Peak Prices

  • Avatar Flight of Passage: $19 (up from $18, $14 at launch)
  • Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind: $22 (up from $19, $15 at launch)
  • Seven Dwarfs Mine Train: $15 (up from $14, $11 at launch)
  • TRON Lightcycle / Run: $23 (up from $22, $20 at launch)
  • Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance: $24 (holding just below its $25 ceiling)

Lightning Lane Prices Reach New Peak at Walt Disney World This Week

While the record highs are sparking conversation among parkgoers, the timing makes sense — these dates fall in the middle of one of Walt Disney World’s busiest stretches, with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party wrapping up and Christmas décor already rolling out across the parks. Guest demand is high, and the pricing reflects that.

Interestingly, the Lightning Lane Premier Pass — the one-day option that covers every available Lightning Lane in a single park — is not seeing similar peak pricing this week, offering a rare bit of price stability amid the increases.
