Wearing a Tinker Bell-inspired running costume, Leah Thorvilson from Little Rock, Ark., smiles Jan. 9, 2011 after winning the women’s division of the Walt Disney World Marathon in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. with an unofficial time of 2:42:10.
Thorvilson’s victory coincided with her birthday, making it an extra-special Disney celebration.
Fredison Costa, 33, from El Paso, Texas, won the overall event with an unofficial time of 2:21:14. More than 17,500 runners were registered for the annual 26.2-mile run through all four Disney theme parks.
