La Cantina

Epcot’s La Cantina de San Angel in the Mexico Pavilion of World Showcase is now open for breakfast.  Breakfast will be available daily from 9am to 11am and consist of the following menu options:

  • Chilaquiles con huevos $8.75
Two fried eggs, layers of fried corn tortilla, with green tomatillo sauce, topped with queso fresco, onions and sour cream.
  • Tamal verde con huevos $8.75
Scrambled eggs, corn dough filled with pork chorizo, covered with green tomatillo sauce.
  • Pambazo de chorizo con huevo $9.95
Bread roll filled with scrambled eggs, chorizo, jack cheese, red onions, lettuce and guacamole.

A kid’s breakfast meal is also available:

  • Huevos revueltos $5.99
Scrambled eggs topped with cheese, served with potatoes and fruit.

The Mexico Pavilion will certainly see an increase in crowd levels once the nearby Frozen Ever After and Royal Sommerhus meet & greet open on June 21st. The adjacent Norway Pavilion will open at 9am whereas the rest of the World Showcase doesn’t open until 11am. Smart move on Disney’s part adding a breakfast option for all of those hungry guests waiting in what is sure to be a very long line.
