Kona Cafe at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is currently undergoing refurbishment. The restaurant is expected to be closed through mid-October and construction walls are already up hiding the work.

The construction walls span the length of the restaurant and black curtains cover the top. The walls feature an orange Polynesian-inspired triangular pattern as well as signs explaining the closure.
One sign reads: “Please pardon our appearance. This area is being refurbished for your future enjoyment. Mahalo!” The other sign explains that To-Go options are still available to order from Kona Cafe. There is a QR code guests can scan for the menu and to place their order. Orders can be picked up at Kona Island Coffee Bar.
Will you miss Kona Cafe while it’s closed?
