This statement emerges shortly after Sean Bailey, the President of Disney Studio Motion Picture Production, hinted at the potential continuation of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, in which Depp played the beloved character Captain Jack Sparrow.
Bailey expressed confidence in having an engaging storyline that pays homage to the previous films while introducing fresh elements.

However, Bailey remained cautious when discussing Depp’s involvement, stating that they have not made any commitments yet.
In the midst of these discussions, producer Jerry Bruckheimer remains uncertain about Depp’s return and defers the question to Disney, expressing his desire to have Depp on board due to their friendship and admiration for his acting skills, despite the interference of personal matters in professional endeavors.
