John Stamos and the Cast of ‘Big Shot’ Volunteer at the LA Food Bank. As the season finale of ‘Big Shot‘ premieres on Disney+, the cast spent their time volunteering at the LA Food Bank to help those in need. Series lead John Stamos coordinated the volunteer day for the cast and shared with fans, “I’m so grateful to be in partnership with such a classy brand like Arnold Bread – not only do they make a great loaf – they care about people. I took my cast from BIG SHOT to volenteer at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank – Arnold Bread saw us there on my social, and donated $25,000 !! Thank you for your kindness!“
“Big Shot” follows Coach Korn (John Stamos) who, after getting ousted from the NCAA, is given a chance for redemption with a coaching position at an elite private high school. He soon learns that the teenage players require empathy and vulnerability — foreign concepts for the stoic coach. By learning how to connect with his players, Marvyn starts to grow into the person he’s always hoped to be. The girls learn to take themselves more seriously, finding their footing both on and off the court.
The 10-episode series stars John Stamos, Jessalyn Gilsig, Yvette Nicole Brown, Richard Robichaux and features a talented group of young actors including Sophia Mitri Schloss, Nell Verlaque, Tiana Le, Monique Green, Tisha Custodio and Cricket Wampler. All 10-episodes of Big Shot are now available to stream exclusively on Disney+.
