Jewels added to Disney World 50th Anniversary Banners. We keep thinking that “The Worlds Most Magical Celebration” decorations in the Magic Kingdom have been completed. We were wrong a few times, and this time we won’t say it is done. It appears Disney is adding the final touches. The major stuff is done, but the fine details that Disney is known for are being added still.
We happen to be walking through the outskirts of the Hub area, in front of Cinderella Castle, and a small glint caught our eye. Looking closer, we saw that the 50th-anniversary banner had a blue sapphire gem attached to the bottom of the banner. These blue jewels really make the banners stand out, especially when the sun glints off them just right.
