Disney Channel has ordered a spin-off series of the hit comedy “Jessie,” which has consistently ranked among the Top TV series across Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11 and Tweens over its four seasons. It was announced today by Adam Bonnett, Executive Vice President, Original Programming, Disney Channels Worldwide. Peyton List, Karan Brar and Skai Jackson reprise their roles of Emma, Ravi and Zuri Ross, respectively. The yet-to-be-titled spin-off series will be part of Disney Media Sales and Marketing’s presentations to clients in the coming week. Continuing her long association with the Disney Channel hit series, series creator, Pamela Eells O’Connell (“Jessie,” “The Suite Life on Deck”), will executive-produce.
The new production is scheduled to begin in spring 2015.
“‘Jessie’ has been a fan favorite for the past four years,” Bonnett said. “We are excited that viewers all over the world can continue to watch the humorous antics of Emma, Ravi and Zuri, beloved characters played brilliantly by Peyton, Karan and Skai.”
Season to date, “Jessie,” which has 101 episodes produced (four seasons), ranks as the #2 cable TV series among Kids 6-11 (1.2 million/4.9 rating) and among the Top 5 live-action series in Kids 2-11 (1.4 million/3.4 rating).

I have no idea how that show was even popular tbo.
So, the end must be near for Jessie. DIsney Channel shows rarely last longer than four seasons. I’m curious how the new show will explain why only 3 of the kids are still together without the other 1 and no parents, butler or nanny around much.
