Director James Gunn teases that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will feature some wonderful cameos! He also promises that these cameos are likely to excite “true Guardians fans.”
We know the film will finally introduce audiences to Adam Warlock, who is a popular cosmic hero in Marvel Comics. It’s fair to say that these exciting teases from Gunn are only fueling the anticipation among fans.

There’s no hint or clue as to who those cameos will be from just yet. During the last film, Gunn included the vast majority of the original Guardians of the Galaxy team. For instance, Sylvester Stallone as Stakar Ogord/Starhawk, who is reportedly going to return in the third volume.
However, Gunn has also recently revealed on Twitter that the film has broken a world record.
“Just heard from our makeup folks at @LegacyEffects that yesterday #GotGVol3 officially passed the World Record for ‘the most makeup appliances created for a single production’ (surpassing The Grinch).
