Is Disney working on a Live Action Aladdin 2?

With the Box Office success of Disney’s Live-Action Aladdin bringing in over 900 Million Dollars it is no surprise that they would want to continue the franchise with a sequel to this popular film.

According to We Got this Covered Disney is developing an Aladdin 2 with the storyline following close to the Return of Jafar, the follow up to Aladdin back in 1994.

Nothing has been officially announced by Disney and production hasn’t even started on the film. So treat this as gossip for now…

Many of the animated classics all have 2nd, 3rd and even 4th movies that were produced and I am not really sure if box office numbers were stellar for the initial Live Action release that we would see sequels to those films as there are many more classics that Disney still needs to reproduce first.
