Is Disney Following Universal and Installing Lockers for Tron Lightcycle Run? We have watched the progress of Disney’s newest Coaster for years now, and cannot figure out what the newest building is going to be in the back. A friend of ours recently asked us what the back building would be for, and asked if they were going to be bathrooms.
That is until we zoomed in, plus we are taking into account the newest rule Disney has implemented on certain rides around.
Recently, riders on both Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad have been banned from using cell phones, and cameras, or having loose articles out during the ride. Now are wondering if the newest building is being finished at the entrance to Tron Lightcycle/ Run will house lockers barring anyone from bringing phones, or anything metal onto the ride itself.

Riders are tilted forward and a back Identity Disk comes forward to lock riders into place. leaving Guests without any way of holding anything in their hands.
We have seen this rule in place at Universal Orlando for years, where they won’t allow you onto a good majority of rides without stowing your stuff into a locker. The lockers are free of charge and are limited to 2 hours maximum time.
