The Disney Publishing Group is at it again, and offering a really good deal on some great interactive books. You may remember seeing that Disney Publishing recently released the Disney Classic Dumbo as an iOS app, working on iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touch devices. With that release, they opened up the vault and are offering some great prices on their other Disney Classics, including this one, Bambi! From now until September 26th, you can get the Bambi Interactive Storybook app for $1.99 instead of its normal $3.99 price tag.
Walt Disney’s Bambi is one of the true Disney Classics. In this interactive app, you’ll be there when Bambi is born, and meets Thumper and all his friends. You’ll laugh when he tries to jump over the log that the bunny rabbits can jump over with ease!
You’ll witness his excitement when he meets Faline, his friend, and you’ll love it when he meets Flower, thinking it’s truly a flower instead of a skunk!
The fun of the interactive story is that there are all sorts of things for you and your children to enjoy! For starters, you may have noticed that there is a spot to insert a picture, and you can even type or draw your child’s name in the “This book belongs to” section.
In addition to that, there are three different puzzle games. Coloring is the game where you get to paint the picture with the colors you want. Matching is where you get to look at the flowers, touch them to show the flower, and try to match it with another flower. The last game is called Meadow Music, and this one lets you listen, learn, and play the music!
Lastly, one of the neatest features in my opinion is the ability to record your own voice as you read the story. This will allow you to set up the settings to play the story back to you using your recording, and is something that my daughter thinks is neat.
Overall, I like the Bambi app. It’s a great story, and a lot of fun for kids — and grownups! — alike!
