Inspiring Teens to Dream Big at Walt Disney World Resort

The 2014 Disney Dreamers Academy will be returning to Walt Disney World Resort for the seventh year with Steve Harvey and Essence Magazine and is on the books for March 6-9, 2014. This amazing program is for U.S. high school students ages 13-19 and provides an innovative outside-the-classroom educational experience as well as a mentoring program inspiring teens to DREAM BIG.

Still true to its mission the Disney Dreamers Academy continues to inspire and fuel the dreams of teens across the nation. This program helps students to discover the world of possibilities that is available to them and helps them to prepare for the future. Disney Dreamers Academy yearly selects 100 high school student out of thousands of applications to embark on this all-expense-paid trip to Walt Disney World Resort for a four-day opportunity that immerses, inspires and fuels their dreams for the future.

Disney theme parks become a vibrant “classroom”, both onstage and behind the scenes. This immersive experience leads to career discoveries, the pursuance of dreams and memories to last a lifetime.

Students will have the opportunity to hear from motivational speakers and celebrities sharing their life experiences while providing insight on how to achieve success and to always DREAM BIG. In addition to gaining a wealth of knowledge from Disney experts and world-renowned entrepreneurs dreamers will also cultivate relationships with other students from across the nation.
