Today’s episode of “Inside Disney Weddings” features an exclusive interview with Disney Worldwide Marketing & Business Development Director, Weddings & Honeymoons Kori McFann on the celebration of Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings’ 20th anniversary.
McFann gives “Inside Disney Weddings” complete details of Disney’s new low-cost elopement and vow renewal package, the Memories Collection, which commemorates Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings’ debut year with its $1,991 price tag and limited 20-month availability.
“We wanted to make our 20th anniversary special,” says McFann. “We thought this was one way to reward all of those couples who have been with us for such a long time, who we’re still communicating with in a social space and who are coming back and seeing their wedding planners, coming back for their anniversaries, and showing us their children. We hope it’s a really great moment for people to reconnect and say their vows.”
Hosts Scott Sheppard and Carrie Hayward also get the inside scoop on Disney’s two new technology tools for brides and grooms: the Virtual Venue tool, which gives Google Earth fly-throughs of ceremony and reception sites, and the My Disney’s Fairy Tale Wedding Facebook app, a full-service wedding web site and social networking tool.
