The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation is setting the stage for an unforgettable night of music history, announcing the initial, electrifying lineup of special guests for the 40th Annual Induction Ceremony on November 8, 2025.Music giants from across generations and genres—including pop superstars, hip-hop innovators, and rock legends—will gather at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles to present, perform, and honor the newest class of inductees.

The Induction Ceremony will once again stream live coast to coast on Disney+ Saturday, Nov. 8 (5:00 p.m. PST/6:00 p.m. MST/7:00 p.m. CST/8:00 p.m. EST), and will be available to stream following the ceremony. ABC will also air a primetime special with performance highlights and standout moments on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026 (8:00 p.m. EST/7:00 p.m. CST), available next day on Hulu.

The excitement for the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is magnified by the star-studded special guest list, a tradition that sees “the most influential artists in music today… honor their heroes,” creating “lifetime musical moments that will live on forever,” according to John Sykes, chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation.
This year’s honorees—including performers like Cyndi Lauper, Outkast, Soundgarden, and The White Stripes, plus Salt-N-Pepa and Warren Zevon for Musical Influence, and others—will also be celebrated with the opening of the 2025 Inductee Exhibit on October 31, 2025. This exhibit will feature incredible artifacts like the handwritten lyrics to Lauper’s “Time After Time,” the iconic Icky Thump outfits from Jack and Meg White, Chris Cornell’s 1979 Gibson Les Paul, and the famous “Hey Ya” music video outfit worn by Outkast’s André 3000.
