Looking for the perfect holiday gift? Well as you wish, because The Princess Bride Board Game is real, and it is available at Target! This game’s existence is inconceivable, and we’re here for it! I don’t know about you, but I have definitely watched The Princess Bride more than once since it began streaming on Disney+ this year. Look, some good things really did happen in 2020!

Inconceivable! Hmm, we keep using that word. I do not think it means what we think it means. In this immersive game, players can race up the Cliffs of Insanity, navigate the Fire Swamp, and help Buttercup, Westley, Fezzik, and Inigo survive the dastardly plans of Prince Humperdinck, Count Rugen, and Vizzini! Six chapters immerse players in the movie as they work together to complete the story. Without throwing the plot off course despite shrieking eels, rodents of unusual size, and constant interruptions of course. Ewe, I hope there is no kissing!

The Princess Bride Adventure Book Game

Playing the game, you’ll play as a team to advance the plot and tell all six chapters of the story despite interruptions from a sick Grandson. Him and that video game, I mean honestly!

Play through all six chapters with only one interruption to win! Work together to complete challenges by moving characters and discarding Story cards from your hand to complete challenges. On your turn, you’ll complete five steps in the following order: Move, Storytelling, Draw, Plot, and Discard. To finish a chapter and move on to the next one, you must complete all of that chapter’s challenge. Once a player completes a challenge, they’ll receive the reward listed! With each chapter, you’ll need to avoid interruptions to keep this love story on course!

Well, The Princess Bride Board Game has totally been added to my holiday wishlist, what about yours?
