Seem strange to see one of the Guardians of the Galaxy posing with none other than Mary Poppins? Think again. In a moment that has fans roaring with laughter, a scene from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 makes this Yondu and Mary meet-up at Disneyland Resort the stuff of social media gold.
Though we here at Chip and Co. don’t want to give too much away to those that haven’t seen the new film, let’s just say that it has something to do with Yondu’s funny re-interpretation of one of Star-Lord’s hilarious pop culture references.
Michael Rooker, who reprises his role as Yondu in the second installment of the film, stopped by to say “Hello” to Miss Mary on Main Street USA this week and took time out to Instagram the photo you see above. Insiders report that he was also spotted on the Storybook Land Canal Boats but no word as to whether he took time out to enjoy the new Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission BREAKOUT! attraction that is slated to open in just a few short weeks. Hopefully we’ll be seeing more of the Michael and the rest of the Guardians gang when the attraction officially opens on May 27, 2107.
