On January 29, 2010, IBM opened its new Smarter Planet experiential exhibit at INNOVENTIONS at Epcot in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The exhibit is powered by a Smarter Data Center, providing a real-life demonstration of optimized computing that reduces energy costs by up to 25 percent. The exhibitâ€™s version of IBMâ€™s Scalable Modular Data Center has been implemented by hundreds of IBM clients around the world.
