As Hispanic Heritage Month came to an end this week, thousands gathered for the 3rd Annual Latin Food and Wine Festival, hosted by Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando (HCCMO). Disney proudly served as the presenting sponsor for the event and supports the HCCMO as a 2011 Trustee.
The two-day event began on Friday with Savor the Night, an evening filled with food, wine, signature drinks, silent auction, and entertainment. The sold-out event welcomed 300 guests on the rooftop of the Stirling Global Gallery at The Plaza in Downtown Orlando. On Saturday, nearly 20,000 guests and vendors gathered from across Central Florida to attend the Grand Tasting at the Cranes Roost Park in Altamonte Springs.
“One of the main purposes for having this event is to recognize the delicious Latin influenced food and beverage businesses here in Central Florida,” said Ramon Ojeda, President of the HCCMO. “It is our goal to not only recognize these businesses and give them the exposure and recognition they deserve, but to also bring them more customers.”
