The time for terror is near! Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is returning this fall, and it promises to be more terrifying than ever. Taking place on select nights from September 5 through November 2, the event will unleash extreme screams with a park-wide experience of five haunted houses, three all-new scare zones, two new hordes, and ghoulish entertainment. For a limited time during the Monster Sale, you can face your fears with tickets starting as low as $34.99.

All-New Horrors

This year’s Howl-O-Scream introduces terrifying new houses and scare zones designed to prey on your deepest fears.

NEW! M.A.R.S.: Step aboard the starship Elysium, which has crash-landed on Mars. The crew is gone, replaced by aggressive, insect-like alien creatures. Your mission is simple: reach the ship’s core and destroy it before the infestation spreads—or you become a permanent part of the doomed crew.

NEW! Ravens Mill – Lambs to Slaughter: This fan-favorite returns with a sinister upgrade. Once a thriving farm, Raven’s Mill now grinds flesh and bone. Scarecrows stitched from the remains of the missing stand guard as you step deeper into a nightmare where the harvest is far more disturbing than grain.

NEW! The Pestilence: In this plague-ravaged town, gas-masked Mob Doctors decide who lives and who is dragged to the Ashen Furnace. No one knows why they are chosen, and no one escapes. A whispered “It’s only a precaution” is all you get before the fear consumes you.

The park is also adding two more new scare zones. In Breadcrumbs to Nowhere, a rotting cottage in Havenwood Forest lures you with the scent of sugar and the lies of a forgotten fairy tale. And in Murders at Buckshot Ridge, a cursed logging camp has turned its workers into something else entirely, as the forest itself takes revenge.

Sinister Entertainment and Upgrades

If you need a break from the relentless terror, you can catch one of Howl-O-Scream’s sinister shows. Witness the ultimate battle of good versus evil in The Reckoning, or be on the edge of your seat during the high-energy stunt spectacle of Cirque X-Scream.

For those who want to skip the lines and get straight to the screams, a variety of upgrades are available. Front Line Fear passes start at $69.99 and give you front-of-line access to all five haunted houses. The Front Line Fear Extreme pass adds priority entry to ten of Busch Gardens’ most popular thrill rides.
