Here’s a sneak peek at the new Marvel attraction, resort experiences and special offers at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort in 2019.

There’s a lot more magic happening at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort in 2019.

Not only will guests be treated to a new Marvel attraction staring heroes Ant-Man and the Wasp, but little ones can become princesses, join Mickey and friends in new festivities, and meet their favorite characters from “Toy Story” and “Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas.”


Coming March 2019 to Hong Kong Disneyland, enter the world of Marvel through the new interactive attraction“Ant-Man and the Wasp-Nano Battle!” where guests will join the heroic duo in battle.   The original stars of the film, Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly will be reprising their roles as they battle Armin Zola and his army of Hydra-Swarm bots.

Due to open in the Summer of 2019, little ones can be transformed into their favorite Disney princess in the new Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in the Hong Kong Disneyland castle area.   The lovely Fairy Godmother’s-in-training will help your little one become Cinderella, Aurora, Belle, Snow White, Elsa, or Jasmine in a gorgeous royal setting.   In addition to the royal makeover, the little princesses will be treated to stories from an interactive Magic Mirror.   Different dress-up packages and photo opportunities will be available for purchase.


Beginning November 7, 2018, Hong Kong Disneyland will be in full swing celebrating Mickey Mouse’s 90th birthday.

Guests will be able to join in the fun as the “World’s Biggest Mouse Party” hits Hong Kong Disneyland Resort until February 2019.

During this celebration, guests will be able to purchase birthday themed merchandise, specialty food items, and have special Mickey and friends-themed park tickets.

If you are lucky enough to visit the park on Mickey’s birthday November 18th you’re in for a special treat!   Guest will receive special birthday stickers and enjoy the “We Love Mickey” Projection Show Birthday Edition on Main Street U.S.A. that will end with everyone singing “Happy Birthday” to Mickey Mouse while they make an appearance to guests dressed in special 90th-anniversary costumes.

Guests staying in the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel will also be able to choose a special celebration-themed room decoration package complete with special bed runner, door stickers, a tin box with goodies, greeting cards, balloons, slippers and top it all off with a pair of Mickey and Minnie plush.


In 2019 new elements to certain characters will be added.  In 2019’s Year of the Pig you guests will receive a special New Year’s greeting from none other than the characters from the classic story, “Three Little Pigs” from January to February.  In anticipation of “Toy Story 4″, the characters from the film will be added to the “Carnivale of Stars” parade from March to August.   Also added is a Pixar Water Play Street Party! Experience, enjoy some ghoulish fun during “Disney Halloween Time” from September to October with the “Pumpkin King”, Jack Skellington and the loveable Disney Villians as they invade the park.  Christmas comes to the park In November with the characters dressed in their holiday best in a wintertime atmosphere during “A Disney Christmas” through December.


While staying at one of the magical Disney resorts at Hong Kong Disneyland guests can decorate their hotel room with special hotel room celebration decor, enjoy recreational activities, dine at amazing restaurants, and receive exclusive character greetings.   Staying at a Disney hotel is always made special by complimentary in-room decorations provided by the staff.

A brand new children’s playroom “Nemo’s Recreation Reef” will be added to the Disney Explorers Lodge in Summer of 2019 where small guests can channel creativity with arts and crafts.


Amazing new gift items will be available in 2019 in the park and hotels which include 300 items for the beloved Duffy and friends.    In celebration of the Chinese New Year, Spring, Halloween, and Christmas Duffy and friends get a fresh new look and also welcome a new character, Cookie.

Over 500 new themed food and beverage items will be introduced sporadically throughout the year to include everything from Western and Chinese entrees to desserts with Disney magic flair.

Enjoy amazing Chinese cuisine at the Crystal Lotus but make sure to add some special gift options that are exclusive to Hong Kong Disneyland, including Spicy Anchovy Sauce, the ever popular XO Chili Sauce and the new Lychee Sauce which will arrive in early 2019.

Disney will put their own spin on an all-new Chinese menu in early 2019 featuring western cooking styles.

Make sure to partake in the semi-buffet brunch at World of Color Restaurant or enjoy fine dining with various cuts of premium steak at Walt’s Cafe.  As always, a Disney-themed dessert is available or share an exclusive party cake.  There will be more spectacular dining offers to be announced for the hotels and the park in the coming months.  Get those taste buds ready!

November 2018 to February 2019 – 

Hong Kong Disneyland will be celebrating the 90th anniversary of Mickey Mouse with the “World’s Biggest Mouse Party”!

January to February 2019 – 

Join in the celebration of the Chinese New Year, the Year of the Pig, with a new character experience by the Three Little Pigs and other themed festive delights.

Opening March 2019 – 

The all-new Marvel attraction “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Nano Battle!” hits Hong Kong Disneyland.

March to August 2o19 – 

Join your favorite Disney characters in the “Carnivale of the Stars” and see exciting springtime decorations.  The popular “Disney Character Easter Egg Hunt” returns where guests can hunt enlarged eggs inspired by your favorite Disney characters.   Be sure to also check out the enhanced “Pixar Water Play Street Party in summer!” where you will find characters from the upcoming film “Toy Story 4”.

Opening in Summer 2019 – 

Make your little one’s heart sing as they are transformed into a princess at the brand new Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Hong Kong Disneyland’s castle area.

Also opening in the summer will be a new playroom “Nemo’s Recreation Reef” at the Disney Explorer’s Lodge.

September to October 2019 – 

Jack Skellington and friends invade the park for some Halloweentime fun.

November 2019 to January 2020 – 

Christmastime is here!   Join Mickey and Minnie in a holiday festival while magical snowflakes fall every night on Main Street U.S.A.
