Holiday Photo Tour of 13 Walt Disney World Resorts

Nothing says Happy Holidays more than a resort-hopping day at the Walt Disney World Resorts.  From the trees, wreaths and trains, to the ornaments, the gingerbread and the cast members the atmosphere at the resorts will get you into the Spirit of the Season.  Here is our holiday photo tour of 13 Walt Disney World Resorts.

We began our journey to view the majestic tree and the grand fireplace at the Wilderness Lodge:

Our next stop brought us to the All Star Sports, All Star Music, and All Star Movies Resorts where we discovered that the deco is all about the theming:

Even though Coronado Springs is undergoing a massive refurbishment and re-imagining, they still made sure to grace their lobby with a massive tree surrounded by a sea of poinsettias:

Next we adventured over to the Animal Kingdom Lodge where the magnificent tree seemed to reach toward the sky:

The Caribbean Beach featured tropical flowers, fish and bright Island colors:

Pop Century was up next and we loved the fun details throughout their main tree:

We journeyed over Generation Gap Bridge to discover the Art of Animation with their unique white tree, wreaths and garland:

The Polynesian Village Resort features beautiful flowers and drums:

We headed to the Yacht Club to enter into a Winter Wonderland featuring a beautiful Train Village:

Our absolute favorite resorts to visit are the ones featuring Gingerbread Displays.  The Boardwalk Inn has focused their 2017 display on some of The Boardwalk Eateries:

You will know you have arrived to view the amazing annual Chocolate Gingerbread Carousel at the Beach Club Resort even before you enter the door because it smells that good:

The Contemporary focused this year’s display around Prince Charming and Cinderella:

And no Holiday resort-hopping would be complete without a visit to see the beautiful tree and the resplendant Gingerbread House of The Grand Floridian:

Cast Members are an integral part of making the Holidays at Disney World special for guests.  No visit to the Grand Floridian is complete without a picture of Richard Gerth.  A Grand Floridian Greeter for more than 25 years, Richard was looking very festive in his outfit that reminds him of the days of ‘Chestnuts.”  If you have never met Richard, he is an absolute joy to speak with and he will truly enhance your holiday with his joyfully sweet demeanor.

If you are looking for something really amazing to do on your non-park days, we highly recommend resort-hopping to see all the holiday decorations.  Purchase a gingerbread treat at the Grand Floridian Gingerbread House, try a Frozen Hot Chocolate from The Contemporary’s Gingerbread Display, and get a Disney Photographer to take your photo in front of the most majestic tree ( in our opinion) ever to grace the Walt Disney World property at The Wilderness Lodge.  If you only have 1/2 a day to explore, then pick your favorites and have a fun family-bonding day!  We hope you enjoyed this Holiday Photo Tour of 13 Walt Disney World Resorts.  From all of us at Chip and Company, we wish you and your families a beautiful Holiday Season!
