Holiday overlay being added to Cinderella Castle

Holiday Cinderella Castle

The Christmas holiday decorations are already making an appearance at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. We went around Magic Kingdom to take a look at all the fun Christian decor that was put up.

The first spot we took a closer look at was the iconic Cinderella Castle! You can see the boughs of holly and ornaments adorning the rails of the rear of the castle.

Even though we won’t see the traditional holiday lights, it’s great to see that the castle has decorations. It helps to add festive cheer for guests visiting Magic Kingdom.

The holiday season at the Walt Disney World Resort officially starts on November 6. All four parks will be decorated for the season so keep an eye out for more decor to appear soon!

The parks and resorts will be decorated, but things will be a bit different this year. Typical holiday events and attractions like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and the holiday lights on Cinderella’s Castle have been canceled this year. If you are visiting the Walt Disney World Resort this holiday season, there will still be plenty of holiday and Disney magic to enjoy!

Will you be visiting Walt Disney World Resort this holiday season?
