Disney has fueled the excitement by posting two new casting notices—one for dancers and one for vocalists—strongly signaling that the fan-favorite Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular will once again take center stage at Cinderella Castle for the 2026 season.

Despite being a staple of the spooky season, there had been whispers that the “Spelltacular” might be nearing its final curtain call. However, these recent casting notices effectively put that speculation to rest—at least for the 2026 season.
Since its debut in 2015, the show has cemented itself as one of the highest-rated stage performances at Walt Disney World. The story follows the iconic Sanderson Sisters—Winifred, Mary, and Sarah—as they return to the mortal world for one night to host the ultimate Halloween bash at Magic Kingdom.
To brew the perfect party potion and cast a spell over the audience, the sisters enlist a “who’s who” of Disney Villains, including Dr. Facilier, Oogie Boogie, and Maleficent. The high-energy production is bolstered by a talented troupe of dancers, stunning projection mapping, and immersive special effects.
While we are still waiting on the official Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party dates for 2026 (last year’s announcement dropped on May 21), this casting news is a great sign that the party is taking shape. We will share more details as soon as Disney confirms the full 2026 schedule!
