LEGO has announced the winner of the LEGO Ideas Third 2021 Stage Review. Out of the 36 fan projects that qualified, only one made the cut and it is Hocus Pocus – The Sanderson Sisters’ Cottage!
The Hocus Pocus-themed set was designed by Belgian Fan Designer Amber Veyt, and had been listed on LEGO Ideas since early 2021. The set hit 10,000 supporters in October of last year, qualifying it for review by the LEGO Ideas designer team.

The set consists out of less then 2700 parts. It includes the cottage (50cm high, 45cm wide and 50cm long), Billy’s grave and custom made Minifigures with their attributes.
It includes the openable Sanderson Sisters’ Cottage, Billy’s grave, and 12 Minifigures: Winifred Sanderson, Sarah Sanderson, Mary Sanderson, Max Dennison, Dani Dennison, Allison, Emily Binx, Thackery Binx, Binx (as a cat), Billy Butcherson, Ernie AKA Ice and Jay. Notable elements from the original design are also included in the set, such as the black flame candle and the Sanderson Sisters’ spellbook, complete with a spell to turn Thackery Binx into a cat.
LEGO is still working on the final product design, pricing, and availability so it’ll be at least a year before we see the set. The next review results will be in the fall when they announce the First 2022 Review Stage winner. We hope to see it reach production soon!
