Hiro and Talking Baymax Meet & Greet Coming to San Fransokyo Square in Disney California Adventure

Ba-la-la-la-la! Guests will soon get to meet Hiro and talking Baymax at San Fransokyo Square in Disney California Adventure.

Guests will get to interact with Baymax and Hiro Hamada outside the Hamada Bot Shop when San Fransokyo Square opens on August 31. Baymax has met guests in Disney parks previously but has never talked before! You can hear him speak a little in the video Disney shared on Instagram:

“🤜 Ba-la-la-la-la 🤛 Hiro & Baymax are excited to welcome you to San Fransokyo Square on Aug. 31, 2023!”

Pacific Wharf is still under construction while it undergoes retheming. Disney has shared that guests will be able to sample new San Fransokyo selections at Lucky Fortune Cookery starting in mid-July. More dining and shopping opportunities will become available in the following weeks.

The entire Pacific Wharf area will be decked out in street art and colorful banners celebrating the “Big Hero 6” team.

At San Fransokyo Maker’s Market guests will find unique apparel, homewares, and more featuring Baymax and friends. Vending machines across from the market will feature golden medallions featuring Baymax and other San Fransokyo images.

New dining options will be coming soon:

• July 19: New San Fransokyo selections available at Lucky Fortune Cookery (Mobile order available)
• July 26: New San Fransokyo selections available at Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill (Mobile order available)
• July 26: Rita’s Baja Blenders will be reimagined to Rita’s Turbine Blenders (Mobile order available)
• COMING SOON: Port of San Fransokyo Cervecería will open (Mobile order available)
• August 31: Pacific Wharf Café will be reimagined to Aunt Cass Café (Mobile order available), Guests will be able to meet Hiro and Baymax, San Fransokyo Maker’s Mart will open
