These new Hidden Mickey pins will be given out to cast members, late July of this year, so they can trade them with guests. So let’s take a look at what is coming up in the pin trading world.
Disneyland and Disney World Resort Cast Members will get 30 different pins to trade with guests. Don’t forget, Hidden Mickey pins will be about 1.25-inches and will say ”Hidden Mickey Pin” on the back of the pin.
Check them out:
There will be 5 different Disney bird pins found at Disney World Resort. The “Villainous Sidekicks” pin collection will also feature complementary pins. Chaser pins will also be included in this years new pin collection. The silver-colored pins are a rare find compared to the full color pins. These pictured above are the Disneyland pins.
Take a look at the MagicBand pins. I also love the Cell Phone ones!

Do you have any idea why the pins are called “Hidden Mickey?” I think the person who named these pins doesn’t know what the word hidden means. They are right out in the open–couldn’t be more “unhidden.” Hidden Mickeys are like the Viking in the ship in the painting on the Norway ride with a Mickey hat.
