Height requirement released for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind!

The countdown is on for the opening of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in Epcot! Cast members, DVC members, and Annual Passholders are getting previews of the attraction and we can’t wait for it to officially open. Now, we have learned what the height requirement is for the ride.

We’ve learned a lot about this new attraction already. We’ve got a sneak peek of the ride queue, the ride cars, and the Wonders of Xandar pavilion outside of the attraction. Now, guests can start planning a little better for experiencing the ride since we know the height requirement.

Guests wishing to ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind must be at least 42 in. tall. For reference, many of the more “big-kid” rides at Walt Disney World have a 40 in. height requirement like Splash Mountain and Test Track.

Height requirements are put in place to help keep guests safe while on an attraction. Cast members will measure guests who might not meet the height requirement before they get too far in the attraction queue. It’s a good idea to measure your children ahead of time so they aren’t disappointed when you get to the ride.
