Ghostly Guests Rematerialize: The Haunted Mansion Parlor Sets Sail Aboard the Disney Destiny
There’s always room for one more ghost… and now, one more ship. The beloved Haunted Mansion Parlor has returned from the great beyond, this time aboard Disney Cruise Line’s newest vessel, the Disney Destiny. Guests can once again mingle with the 999 happy haunts in this spine-chillingly elegant lounge at sea.

Just like its eerie twin on the Disney Treasure, the Haunted Mansion Parlor aboard the Destiny is an adults-only space designed for “lively spirits” — both supernatural and sippable. Think vintage décor, flickering lamps, purple damask wallpaper, and enough ghostly charm to make even Madame Leota raise a glass.

A Hauntingly Elegant Atmosphere
From the moment guests step through the parlor’s ornate doors, they’re transported into a ghost story told with Disney Cruise Line flair. Velvet armchairs, leather barstools, and richly patterned rugs create an intimate setting for chilling conversations. The famed “Donald Duck” chair makes a return appearance too — yes, that mischievous red seat that seems to grin right back at you.
Look closely around the parlor and you’ll notice the Imagineering magic at work: a portrait gallery of spectral sailors, a white marble fireplace with a shipwreck painting above, and a clock forever fixed at the unlucky hour of 13. Even the Captain’s portrait gets in on the fun — transforming from stately to skeletal before your very eyes.

A Bar That’s Simply to Die For
The glowing green marble bar beckons with ghostly allure, complete with a mirror that holds more than your reflection. Stare long enough and you just might see a few otherworldly figures join the party. Bartenders keep the mischief going by hiding secret messages in cocktails that only appear under blacklight.
And speaking of cocktails — the drinks here are frightfully good. The Chilling Challenge: My Way mixes Camus VSOP Cognac, Cointreau Noir, Joto Yuzu Sake, Orange Blossom Foam, and edible viola flowers into a hauntingly beautiful concoction. Guests order from leather-bound digital “books” that flip like the pages of an old tome.
Don’t forget to grab a Death Certificate when closing out your tab — a signature souvenir that’s become a cult favorite among fans of the Haunted Mansion Parlor.

Beyond the Veil — and Into Forever
As if sipping with the spirits wasn’t enough, the Haunted Mansion Parlor is now officially available as a Disney Weddings venue, perfect for couples ready to say “I do” for all eternity. Between the eerie portraits and the portholes to the afterlife, it’s the ultimate setting for a ghostly union made in heaven (or perhaps, somewhere just below).
With the Haunted Mansion Parlor now haunting both the Disney Treasure and the Disney Destiny, fans of the supernatural can look forward to double the ghoulish delight.
