Haunted Mansion Holiday Overlay Opening Date Announced for Disneyland
The Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay will be returning to the classic attraction at Disneyland this Halloween season! Disney recently shared a date for the return of the overlay.
Pumpkin King Jack Skellington has been busy decorating the Haunted Mansion with frightfully festive touches inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Experience thrilling sights and seasonal surprises created by the citizens of Halloween Town. Sally, Oogie Boogie and other beasties from the beloved film will be on hand to wish you “Season’s Screamings!”
Haunted Mansion Holiday will return starting September 1, 2023. The overlay typically stays up through the holiday season and is removed in early January. Haunted Mansion will most likely close in mid-August for the overlay to be installed though Disney has not announced a closing date yet.
Haunted Mansion Holiday
The Haunted Mansion Holiday features various characters from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. Guests will get to see Jack Skellington, Sally, Oogie Boogie, and more! In the ballroom scene, a unique gingerbread house is displayed. The gingerbread house changes each year and guests will catch a delicious whiff as they go by.
