The Intrepid Traveler is celebrating the all-new 2011 edition of Steve Barrett’s The Hassle-Free Walt Disney World Vacation with a special book giveaway.
Once again, Steve has trained his scientific eye of the knotty problem of how to guide you through all the magic, all the thrills, all the joy of the “Happiest Place on Earth”™ without spending hour upon hour in long lines. “More than 20 minutes in line is too much!” is Steve’s motto. And this is the book that delivers on that promise.

I think my new “favorite” ride is Toy Story Midway Mania…but I’d love to be able to ride it more often! So far, I’ve only ridden a couple times due to long waits! If I had to pick a “second place” I think the Rockin’ Roller Coaster is a good second. (I think of the classics like Haunted Mansion and Pirates as more like ‘attractions’ rather than ‘rides’. These are always faves too, of course.)
my favorite rides/attractions are Tower of Terror and Spaceship Earth oh, and Haunted Mansion and TTA. Favorite snack is Dole Whip oh, and frozen lemonade. Really too many to choose.
Must have food? Well, Le Cellier’s wonderful Chedder Cheese Soup (of course)!
My mouth drools just thinking about a Dole Whip! Such a refreshing, unique treat!
My fave attraction in the whole of WDW is probably the Lion King show @ AK. Just gives me warm fuzzies every time I see it!
Our favorite resort so far is the Boardwalk
My favorit resort is the polyensian
Headed to the World in only 37 days! Taking 2 friends – one hasn’t been in 20 years, and neither have ever been without husband/kids/family along! We plan to indulge in great eats at the F&W festival, and try several adult beverages!!!
We love talking about the World and what we we do the next time!
I absolutely love the chocolate covered bananas! No matter what kind of a diet I am on while there, I gotta have one!
Favorite moderate resort – POFQ!
My favorite snack at WDW is the rice krispie Mickey — no chocolate or anything, just plain!
My favorite snack at WDW is the popcorn. It is the prefect salty crunch food. I can not visit any of the parks with out being tempted by that wonderful smell. Just thinking about it makes me want some.
Have always loved the Haunted Mansion
One of my favorite foods is the Pastry in France.
favorite ride, attraction, food item from Walt Disney World. The more comments you make the more entries you will have. Only one rule with that is you can’t post twice in a row.
My favorite ride is Journey To Imagination, Favorite attraction is the World Showcase and favorite food is the Ice Cream sandwich from the bakery on Main Street USA!
My favorite ride is Soarin’! I could do it over and over again all day! 🙂
I have loved Disney for more years than I care to say, LOL. But it is the one place I can go where all my problems (and age) just drop away. I can be a carefree kid again! There are just too many great rides and shows to select a favorite. I can’t even pick a favorite park!
My favorite character is Minnie! <3
I love Splash mountain.
Splash Mountain is my favorite ride.
My favorite ride is Soarin’ at Epcot!!
Favorite ride: Rockin’ Roller Coaster!!!
Food is hard to pick, but our favorite restaurants are Cape May Cafe and Chef Mickey’s.
Favorite QS is Either Tangerine Cafe in Morraco or The German Walk up, Favorite TS is either Coral Reef or Narcoccess
Favorite ride: I don’t want people to laugh at me so I won’t say TTA, although I love it! Let’s go with the polar opposite and say Expedition Everest
Attraction: I don’t think this counts but I love all of the sight gags, and little extra “pluses” you find by looking around at Disney.
Food item: This is the hardest!! I’ll go with the best thing in recent memory was the coffee braised short rib at Jiko. But I always have to have the following during each trip: School bread, dole whip, mickey krispy treat, and root beer float.
anytime at the world is a good

Toy Story Ride At DHS Our favorite ride.
We are going in October for a short trip. We need this book to help us make the best use of the short time we are going to be there!
Splash Mountain is our favorite at Magic Kingdom. The look on our daughters face her first time was priceless.
Only been to Disney one time with our then 3 year old granddaughter. I am looking forward to taking her back along with our 18 month old grandson. My favorite part of Disney was watching her with the Characters at Epcot. To me that is the absolute best place to interact with them. Can’t wait to see their reactions.
I love walking up to enter the park and seeing the Main Street RR station. That’s when I know I’m truly home. 🙂
Favorite treat is a Cloudberry Horn and a latte from the bakery in Norway. Mmmmmmm
OK one of a favorites that we just did was taking a day off and renting bikes, boats and canoes from our resort. One of the best days, then back to the parks for rides and food.
Favorite ride has always been, is now, and will always be The Haunted Mansion!
Tower of Terror
pirates of the carribbean is my fave ride!
Any ride, attraction, or food I am sharing with my grandkids at any Disney Park at any time of the year!
