Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry and Mine-Cart Madness at Epic Universe now accepting Express Pass
Universal Orlando has quietly made a big change to its brand-new Epic Universe lineup. Two of the park’s most anticipated attractions—Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry and Mine-Cart Madness in Super Nintendo World—now appear in the Universal Orlando app as accepting Universal Express Pass.

This is a notable shift, as both rides were previously excluded from the program. The official Universal Orlando website still lists them as not participating, but the in-app update shows that guests can now skip the standby line with Express at both attractions.
That means these two heavy hitters join the current Express roster at Epic Universe, which includes:
- Constellation Carousel
- Curse of the Werewolf
- Fyre Drill
- Hiccup’s Wing Gliders
- Le Cirque Arcanus
- Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge
- Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment
- Stardust Racers
- The Untrainable Dragon
- Yoshi’s Adventure

With this change, the only attraction at Epic Universe still not supporting Express Pass is Dragon Racer’s Rally in How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk.
For Express Pass users, this is a major win—Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry is already seeing 90+ minute wait times, while Mine-Cart Madness has been plagued by delays during early operations. Being able to use Express should help smooth out guest flow and make it easier to experience these blockbuster rides without dedicating hours in line. For those who do not utilize express, this may result in even longer standby wait times for these two popular attractions.
