Just announced at the Walt Disney Company’s 2020 Investment Day event, Harrison Ford is returning as Indy in the final movie in the franchise, Indiana Jones 5.
Kathleen Kennedy from Lucasfilms broke the news that the fifth installment of Indiana Jones will begin filming in Spring of 2021 and is scheduled to be released in July of 2022.
A new script is being written by James Mangold, who has also been tapped to succeed Steven Spielberg in the director’s chair for Indiana Jones 5.
Lucasfilm is in pre-production on the next installment of Indiana Jones. At the helm is James @Mang0ld, director of Ford v Ferrari, and Indy himself, Harrison Ford, will be back to continue his iconic character’s journey. Adventure arrives July 2022.
