Most of the table-service restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida accept advanced dining reservations. Advanced dining reservations become available 180 days in advance. There are numerous restaurants that are so popular that you do need to plan six months in advance to make sure you can eat there!
The absolute most difficult restaurant to make an advanced dining reservation at is the new Be Our Guest Restaurant. Be Our Guest is the French restaurant found in New Fantasyland inside the Beast’s castle which was inspired by the classic film Beauty and the Beast. Be Our Guest is only a table-service location for dinner, making reservations extremely limited. However, the attention and popularity of this restaurant is well-deserved! It is gorgeous and the food is fabulous!
Cinderella’s Royal Table is another very popular restaurant at Disney World which makes it one of the most difficult places to get an advanced dining reservation. The magic of eating in the iconic Cinderella Castle and dining with the princesses draws guests of all ages. This is a great restaurant for little princesses and even princes to meet their favorite princesses. It is also a great spot for couples as there is a romantic atmosphere there as well.
Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is a great character buffet with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto. This is often another difficult spot to make advanced dining reservations without enough planning. The location is convenient for Magic Kingdom guests as it is the first stop on the monorail. Another draw to Chef Mickey’s is that it does not require park tickets so guests can dine here without a park hopper option or to end their day at a resort.
‘Ohana, a Polynesian-inspired buffet inside the Polynesian Resort, is another popular restaurant among Disney World guests. You will even find Lilo and Stitch here for breakfast!
Some of the signature restaurants can also be difficult to get an advanced dining reservation at without some planning. These include the award-winning Victoria & Albert’s at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa as well as the California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
Lastly, the dinner shows (Disney’s Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, Mickey’s Hoop Dee Doo Revue, and Mickey’s Backyard BBQ) are also popular options for guests as they are dining experiences rather than just a meal. With limited show times, these meals will also require some advance planning to secure an advance dining reservation.
Which is your favorite table service restaurant? How far in advance do you make your advanced dining reservations?

I’ve never had a problem getting ADRs at Chef Mickey or Ohana.
We ate lunch at “Be Our Guest” in March. The line was two hours long at noon, but we went back at 2 p.m. and waited less than half an hour. The bonus was the restaurant cleared out and while they were setting up for dinner, they let us stay and check the rooms out with no rush!
I’d really like to eat at Be Our Guest someday
If we have late reservations at Be our guest, can we just order dessert?? or do you have to have dinner?? like an 8:30pm.
I agree with Becky Le Cellier is booked like B.O.G. is!
For reservations for all of those without a glitch but I call as soon as the phones open on day 180…
i think le cellier is WAY harder than Ohana or chef mickey’s to get…
