New Tanzanian Meat Pie Brings African Flavors Back to Harambe Market at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Guests looking for something a little more adventurous at Disney’s Animal Kingdom now have a new reason to stop by Harambe Market. Walt Disney World has introduced a brand-new Tanzanian Meat Pie along with two fresh side options, bringing a taste of the market’s original African-inspired menu back to the quick-service location.

The new Tanzanian Meat Pie is filled with African-spiced beef and lamb wrapped in warm naan bread, then topped with fresh kachumbari and cool tzatziki. The entrée is priced at $13.49 and includes your choice of side. Alongside the returning global flavors, Harambe Market has also added a Fruit Cup ($3.99) and Seasoned Kettle Chips ($4.99), giving guests more options beyond the standard french fries.
When Harambe Market reopened earlier this year following refurbishment, many longtime Animal Kingdom fans noticed the menu leaned more toward familiar theme park favorites like burgers, chicken tenders, and wraps. While those items remain available, the addition of the Tanzanian Meat Pie is a welcome step toward bringing back the unique flavors that helped make Harambe Market stand out in the park’s early years.
