Welcome, foolish mortals! The Haunted Mansion’s Happy Haunts have materialized in time for the attraction’s 50th anniversary. The Disneyland Resort is ready to celebrate the beloved attraction in a big way!
The Happy Haunts Materialize: Fifty Spirited Years of the Haunted Mansion is an exhibit in celebration of all 999 spirits. This ghostly exhibit takes place in the Disneyland Main Street Opera House, which mainly hosts Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln. The exhibition begins in the gallery, with grim and grinning concept art and other inspired pieces. Display cases feature statuettes of some recognizable, cranky spirits. Meanwhile, as you move through the exhibit, read about how the mansion came to be. Many incredibly talented Imagineers worked on the Haunted mansion, and their art is covering the walls of the gallery. With the up and coming 50th anniversary, there is so much more to celebrate with at the Disneyland Resort.
Disneyland’s The Haunted Mansion will be celebrating it’s 50th Anniversary on August 9th. The Happy Haunts exhibit is just the beginning of this “swinging wake”. Look alive, because guests will also get to enjoy an exclusive after hours event. The Retirement Unliving event is offering guests exclusive access to select attractions, including the Haunted Mansion. During this event, you will experience special Disney Photo Pass opportunities, specialty eats, and one of a kind merchandise. To clarify, this is a separately ticketed event.
