Disney is usually really good at making sure that everything runs smoothly, rides work, animatronics are in-tact etc. On January 28th, not one but two Disney bloopers took place.
In Disneyland Paris, the auctioneer from The Pirates of the Caribbean was seen with his head dangling by the wires that connect him to his torso.
Across the world, Ursula was found with her head dangling in The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure attraction in Disney California Adventure. This is one of the reasons why rides go under refurbishment. Nothing takes away the magic more than malfunctioning animatronics. Hopefully, guests that experienced these visions don’t have nightmares!
Without social media, we may have never known about these mishaps! As usual, Disney jumped on the issues and closed the rides until the mechanical malfunctions were fixed.
If you had experienced this, would you have laughed and enjoyed the blooper or been upset that the ride wasn’t so magical?
