Guest Sues Walt Disney World After Tripping on Main Street U.S.A. Trolley Tracks
A new lawsuit filed against Walt Disney World is drawing attention to a familiar feature of Magic Kingdom that most guests barely think twice about until a stroller wheel sticks or an ankle wobbles. According to the lawsuit, a Kentucky guest claims she tripped and fell on the embedded trolley tracks along Main Street U.S.A., sustaining serious injuries. While Disney sees trip and fall cases regularly, this one stands out because it points directly at the trolley track system itself rather than cracked pavement or temporary conditions.

The lawsuit alleges the incident occurred in the early evening hours during heavy guest traffic, noting that the steel rails create changes in elevation and gaps where they meet the surrounding pavement. It further claims that there were no adequate warnings, barriers, or visual cues to alert guests to what the filing describes as a tripping hazard, particularly during crowded conditions tied to nighttime operations and parade flow. The guest is seeking more than $50,000 in damages.

For now, this remains a developing situation, and it is unclear whether the case will move forward or lead to any changes inside the park.
