Reddit user who wishes to remain anonymous shared the scary tale in the Walt Disney World community along with photos!

After the initial post they shared the following info:

After notifying the front desk we received a call from the manager and they hooked us up with passes for Cosmic, FOP, and ROTR as well as credit on the room. My kid has finally calmed down so I’m most grateful for that! This has been an entire experience to say the least!

Pest Control was sent to the room immediately by Disney.

While smaller scorpions are common in South Florida one reddit user thinks this might belong to a previous guest as a scorpion that size is not the typical ones found in Florida.

I get it is Florida and bugs and wildlife are common to be seen at the Parks, Resorts and even in your room. Still pretty scary…
