Number of Post Credit Scenes Revealed for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3
Marvel fans have come to expect post-credit scenes as part of their viewing experience, helping signal upcoming stories for the MCU. To date, only one film, Avengers: Endgame, did not have a post-credit scene. Fans expect additional post-credit sequences in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, and James Gunn has confirmed via Instagram that patrons should stick around after the credits roll.
James Gunn said of the upcoming film, “There is not a post-credit scene. There are two.” Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 had a record-breaking five post-credit sequences. Sometimes these scenes provide a glimpse of what will happen moving forward; other moments are there to provide fun and seemingly unscripted moments.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 will gear up one final time in theaters on May 5, 2023. James Gunn directs the film, which Stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, and Will Poulter. Vin Diesel will again voice Groot, and Bradley Cooper returns as Rocket Racoon.
