Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind is getting a new paint job

Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind is getting a new paint job. With news of the ride is actually being tested by the higher-ups at Disney, we also can visually verify some really cool color changes and painting. Also, we got some great shots from the @bioreconstruct Twitter account that shows some of the highlights being added to the entrance.

We were on hand today to watch the cast members and construction workers painting the side closest to the Play pavilion a new black-grey shade. While the other side remains unpainted. Also in a post on Twitter, we can see below some of the purple accents added to the front.

After getting an update on the latest progress and an early test ride on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, I have three words: it is AWESOME!!! Thank you to the teams at Walt Disney Imagineering and Walt Disney World who are bringing this amazing attraction to life. I’m looking forward to seeing the finishing touches over the next several months and can’t wait for you to get a look when it opens at EPCOT next summer as part of the park’s transformation!
